International pressure on Jadhav case unacceptable, says Khursheed Shah

SUKKUR: Opposition leader in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah said Pakistan will not accept international pressure in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case.

He was speaking to the media during a protest against power shortages in the country outside the press club on Sunday.

Praising the courageous operation by security agencies which resulted in the arrest of a “serving Indian agent,” Shah said the government should resolve the issue according to our own laws.

Talking about the issues facing the country, Shah said protests against load-shedding are a daily affair. He claimed that the agriculture sector has been completely destroyed due to the federal government’s flawed policies in the last four years.

He further said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s policies are damaging the federation, and clarified that his Pakistan Peoples Party has no reconciliation policy with the ruling party — Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz. 

Former Sindh chief minister Qaim Ali Shah also spoke at the protest.
