Teenager attempts suicide, jumps from mobile tower in Multan

MULTAN: A 15-year-old was critically injured after he jumped from a mobile tower on Multan’s Masoom Shah Road early Tuesday morning.

According to the police, the 15-year-old teenager A* left his house and climbed a mobile tower after a domestic dispute. His family tried their best to make sure he comes down but the teenager did not budge.

The family then called Rescue 1122 to the site. The Rescue 1122 team was attempting to bring the teenager down when he jumped from the tower after two hours.

The injured was shifted to Nishtar Hospital, where he is currently under treatment.

According to the paramedics, A* is in critical condition.

The police registered a case against the youngster at Delhi Gate police station for attempted suicide.

Another similar incident occurred in Dera Ghazi Khan when a person with mental disabilities climbed a mobile tower on Railway Road.

Fortunately, the rescue team reached at the right time and the man was brought down after half-an-hour.

According to the area residents, the man had been roaming in the area since many days. Later, the man was taken by the rescue team.
