Medical entry test being held across Punjab today
The medical entry test is on the same day as the T20 match with Sri Lanka in Lahore

LAHORE: The rescheduled Medical and Dental College Admission Test 2017 is being held in examination centres across Punjab on Sunday.
Students are taking the examinations in 28 centres of 13 cities of the province. It was learnt that around 41,000 female students and 24,000 male students are giving the test today.
In Bahawalpur, more than 3,500 students are attending the test.
Strict security measures have been put in place to avoid any untoward incident. Around the examination centres, Section 144 has been imposed.
The candidates are not allowed to take along digital devices.
Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah had said on Friday that intelligence officials, besides authorities concerned, will monitor the medical entry test in Punjab.
While speaking to Geo News in Lahore, the provincial law minister said it was unfortunate the papers were leaked despite the vice chancellor of University of Health Sciences Lahore being hired on merit.
The medical entry test is on the same day as the T20 match with Sri Lanka in Lahore. Addressing the matter, the law minister had assured that the test would not be affected due to the match.
An accused was caught in Multan, after the Punjab government submitted a report to the Lahore High Court mentioning that the employees of University of Health Sciences were found involved in leaking the papers for Medical and Dental College Admission Test 2017.
The high court had declared the results invalid and demanded new test should be taken for the admissions, after which the test was rescheduled for October 29.
