Chilly Siberian winds bring Karachi's temperature down

KARACHI: Chilly Siberian winds gripped the city on Friday bringing the temperature in the metropolis down by 3°C as compared to Thursday.

The winds in the city are blowing at 14kmph and the temperature at 8am was recorded at 16°C.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the temperature is expected to fall to 11°C.

Temperature will remain dry and cold over the next 24 hours in the city, the PMD added.

A day earlier, the Met Office had said that Siberian winds will grip the city this weekend.
