Vivek Oberoi to play Narendra Modi in biopic

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi will portray the role of Indian prime minister Narendra Modi in an upcoming biopic.
Titled PM Narendra Modi, the biopic will be directed by Omung Kumar (Mary Kom) and produced by Sandip Singh. News of Oberoi taking on the role of the Indian politician was announced by film critic Taran Adarsh on social media.
"It's official... Vivek Oberoi to star in Narendra Modi biopic titled PM Narendra Modi... Directed by Omung Kumar... Produced by Sandip Singh... First look poster will be launched on 7 Jan 2019... Filming starts mid-Jan 2019," tweeted Adarsh.

The movie which has been three years in the making will start shooting in mid-January around different parts of the country including Modi's hometown in Gujarat, according to reports.
The first poster of PM Narendra Modi will be unveiled on January 7 in Mumbai with the film expected to be released before the 2019 elections.
