SHARJAH: Pakistan Super League (PSL) will have a mid-season trade window once all teams have played four games each.

The mid-season trade window is likely to commence after all the teams have completed four matches, a reliable source confirmed to Geo. “The two-day window will be open for teams once they have complete four games each for mid-season transfer.”

The source further said, “Only those players can be traded who haven’t played a single game in the league by the time of window.”

The idea behind the move is to provide players an opportunity to go to a team where they can have a bigger chance to play a role.

A player can be traded against a player from the same category he is from. “A team can trade a silver player with another silver player from other category and a team can do maximum two mid-season trades,” the source said.

The fourth edition of PSL kicked off on February 14 with the final scheduled to be played in Karachi on March 17.
