Moon sighted, 1st of Shaban on Sunday
Shab-e-Baraat will be observed on Saturday, April 20

KARACHI: Shaban moon was sighted in the country on Saturday and the first of Shaban will fall on Sunday, April 7, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced.
The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee held a meeting for moon sighting today, which was presided over by chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman.
After the meeting, Rehman made the announcement pertaining to sighting of Shaban moon.
The meeting was attended by its members of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee and Met Department officials.
Similarly, Shab-e-Baraat would be observed on Saturday, April 20.
