British authorities have decided to deploy armed security personnel for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup clash between Pakistan and India, in Manchester, UK, British media reported.

Pakistan and India are set to face off at Old Trafford Ground in Manchester on June 16 in the forthcoming World Cup 2019, for which immense enthusiasm prevails among fans of both the teams.

The interest of spectators can gauged from the fact that 0.5 million fans have applied for match tickets, despite the stadium's capacity to accommodate only 25,000 individuals.

The media report further stated that besides deploying armed personnel, the movement of people close to the stadium would also be monitored.

For this purpose, British police have also completed verification of local Pakistani and Indian communities.

The report further stated that despite Pak-India tension, there has been no hatred between the two communities in Britain.
