MANCHESTER: Things doesn't look ideal for the Pakistan team as head coach Mickey Arthur and players are at loggerheads since the 340 runs defeat against England in the fourth ODI, sources informed Geo News.

The players were disheartened after the coach scolded them over their mediocre play in the team meet and expressed their reservations to the team management. The squad refused to directly speak to the coach for redressal of the issues.

Sensing that the matter is going south, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) despite Chief Selector Inzamamul Haq's resistance told him to join to the team in England during the month of Ramadan, the sources privy to the development said.

The selector tried to play the role of a bridge between the players and coach during the tour and after but despite his all sincere efforts the fact of the matter remains that the relations between them are still at its lowest ebb. Meanwhile, the PCB has also decided to not extend Arthur's contract after the World Cup.
