Pakistan is not Egypt, will not let Nawaz become next Morsi: Maryam

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Vice President Maryam Nawaz said on Saturday that Pakistan is not Egypt neither his party will let former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif become next Morsi.

"We are not asking for relief from fake government neither they have the capacity to give it," said the PML-N leader in a press conference. "We will fight Nawaz Sharif's case till last breath."

Maryam said that though Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif has called for 'Charter of Economy', but she believes that there shouldn’t be any charter with a person who is responsible for the economic crisis.

The PML-N leader said that for the sake of country and nation all political forces should join hand under one platform, adding that Shehbaz will represent the PML-N in all parties’ conference.

Maryam said that her father Nawaz Sharif has heart issues from last 20 years and has suffered as many as three heart attacks. "Nawaz had third heart attack in Adiala Jail. We were not informed about it immediately. Nawaz need one more bypass surgery. Her large heart vain is 95% closed and kidney has stage three issue."

She said that the former prime minister use spray and medicines for angina, and his treatment can take over years.

"All authorities will be responsible if something happens to Nawaz," he said.
