Bilawal cleared of charges in Park Lane case: NAB sources

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is cleared of all charges in Park Lane case, sources within the National Accountability Bureau informed Geo News on Wednesday.

The anti-graft body found no proofs against the PPP chairperson in the probe.

Meanwhile, the former president Asif Ali Zardari is under the NAB custody for as many as 13-day physical remand. Zardari is already under the NAB’s custody in the fake accounts case as well.

Park Lane case

The former president is accused of purchasing 2,460 kenal land in Islamabad against at throwaway price, as the property worth Rs2 billion was purchased in Rs620 million. The land was bought through Park Lane Company in which Zardari was amongst the shareholders.
