ISLAMABAD: The shortage of petrol continued in many cities Wednesday, and according to Secretary Petroleum Ejaz Chodry, the oil distribution companies are responsible for this shortage, Geo News reported.
The secretary added that it will take one week for supplies to resume to normal levels.
Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Jhang and several cities of Punjab have been without petrol for over a week. Where available, it is being sold at inflated prices.
The shortage also continued in Muzaffarabad and adjoining areas where residents have been without petrol for 13 days.
