Yousaf Baig Mirza resigns as Special Assistant to PM on Media

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Media Yousaf Baig Mirza’s resigned from his post on Wednesday.

Mirza who previously served as the managing director of Pakistan Television and launched a number of TV channels, resigned from his post less than a year after he was appointed.

Sources said Mirza resigned from his post due to personal reasons.

In October, Babar Atta, the Polio Focal Person to Prime Minister Imran Khan, resigned from position.

In a series of posts shared on the social networking platform Twitter, Atta said he asked PM Imran to relieve him of his duties due to some personal reasons pertaining to his family.
