Nowsehra heavy rains cause havoc

NOWSEHRA: The heavy monsoon rains in the district flooding the flood water drains entered into the residential areas and markets causing huge losses to the citizens besides other inconvenience making their lives miserable.

Three electric pillions and the roofs of several houses caved in. Knee deep water accumulated all over the city due to torrential rains and the water drainage system failing to cope with overflowed with stinking water further aggravated the situation forcing the people to evacuate leaving their hearth and home to safer places.

Locals blamed the encroachments in the city blocking waterway making situation all the worst, while the roads, streets, hoses and shops remained flooded.
