Pak has no contact with Haqqani network: Mukhtar

KARACHI: Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar denied allegations made by US military chief Admiral Mike Mullen that the ISI was involved with the Haqqani network, Geo News reported.

Mukhtar said that if the Haqqani network was the target then both countries needed to formulate a joint strategy and take action against them.

Mukhtar added that if Pakistan was involved with the Haqqani network then why was a General of the Pakistan army attacked a few days ago.
