Earlier, S. M. Tahir had obtained an interim bail from the court of Rawalpindi Special Judge (Central) and today when he came requesting for an extension, his plea for the same was rejected by the court.
FIA on the order of the court arrested S. M. Tahir on the spot and later presented him before the Islamabad Judicial Magistrate, who handed him over to FIA on two days physical remand.
