Replying to a question, he said Muslims living across the world were also observing the attitude of the West towards the Muslim countries.
He said, "We should have to rely on our own resources to live in this world with dignity and honour."
He stressed the need for keeping in touch with the Muslim nations on all the major issues.
Abdullah Hussain Haroon said there was a serious need to understand the attitude of the West towards the Muslim nations.
"We should move towards the path of self-sufficiency, reliance on natural resources and potential," he added.
He said there was a need to mobilize the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), so that all affairs of the Muslim world could be discussed in an effective manner. (APP)
