Hailey Bieber hospitalised after suffering from stroke-like symptoms: report

Supermodel Hailey Bieber was 'hospitalised' near Palm Springs, California a few days ago following 'brain-related medical emergency', according to reports.

The 25-year-old model, who is wife of Canadian pop star Justin Bieber, was admitted to a hospital after suffering a 'medical emergency' related to her movement, according to TMZ.

In an update posted later in the day, Hailey revealed she had developed 'stroke-like symptoms' due to a blood clot in her brain.

'On Thursday morning, I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having stroke like symptoms and was taken to the hospital,' she wrote.

'They found I had suffered a very small blood clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours.'

'Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I've ever been through, I'm home now and doing well, and I'm so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me!' she wrote.

'Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes and concern, and for all the support and love.'

Doctors were reportedly concerned that Hailey's symptoms might have been related to COVID-19, as the model's husband Justin Bieber recently had a bout with the virus.

Hailey Bieber is now out of the hospital, though it's unclear if her symptoms have abated at all. Doctors are still at work to determine the cause of the supermodel's illness, according to the publication.
