Four policemen killed in firing at Sariab Road

QUETTA: Gunmen on Saturday morning ambushed a patrolling party at Sariab Road that killed four policemen on the spot, Geo News reported.

According to sources, unknown gunmen attacked a patrolling force deployed at railway track of Link Baduni Road that killed four policemen on the spot while attackers fled from the scene. The bodies were shifted to the hospital.

Security forces cordoned off the area after the incident and started investigation..

It is pertinent to mention that the affected area is among the highly sensitive localities of the city where several such incidents have taken place.
