PALLEKELE, Sri Lanka: Pakistan were bowled out for 226 in their first innings after tea on the opening day of the third and final Test against Sri Lanka in Pallekele on Sunday.
Thisara Perera claimed four wickets and Rangana Herath took three after Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field on a seaming wicket.
Asad Shafiq top-scored for Pakistan with 75.
Sri Lanka lead the series 1-0, having won the first Test in Galle by 209 runs. The second Test in Colombo was drawn. (afp)
