NAUDERO: Dr. Dur Muhammad Pathan, a renowned writer and intellectual of Sindh, has announced to return Presidential Award as a protest against imposing new local government system that aims to divide the province.
The writer was honored with President’s Pride of Performance Award last year.
Dr. Dur Muhammad announced returning the Award while addressing the demonstration of Sindhi writers and intellectuals outside press club in Larkana on Sunday.
A large number writers had gathered there to reject Sindh People's Local government Act.
The writers, poets and intellectuals of Sindh are holding demonstrations across the province like other nationalist organizations. (PPI)
