Karachi: Two killed in fresh violence

KARACHI: At least two people were killed and another injured in a firing incident in Liaquatabad area of Karachi, Geo News reported.

Adjoining areas reverberated with intense firing following the incident and infuriated people set three vehicles, including a truck and two passenger buses, on fire.

There were also reports of Rangers personnel being injured in the episode.

According to reports, indiscriminate firing by unkwon assailants near the Liaquatabad Post Office left three people injured, who were taken to a nearby by hospital where two of them sccumbed to their wounds.

The area was still echoing with intermittent firing.
