GALLE: New Zealand were 155-6 at tea after electing to bat on the opening day of the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle on Saturday.
Opener Brendon McCullum (68) and Daniel Flynn (53) scored half-centuries for New Zealand, while left-arm spinner Rangana Herath took three wickets for Sri Lanka.
