Taylor Swift just received a nod from one of the producers, Aaron Dessner, she worked with on her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

On April 19, the 47-year-old musician took to his official Instagram account to share his thoughts on Swift’s latest albums.

Confirming that he's a producer on the 34-year-old artist’s latest double album which was released on Friday at midnight.

He expressed how "excited and honored" he was to be a part of the pop superstar's eleventh studio album, revealing that Dessner was working with Swift on the record's songs for over two years.

"It feels like they have kept us company and evolved in beautiful and unexpected ways through so much life lived during this process," he penned.

Dessner continued, "It's hard to believe Taylor and I have now recorded over 60 songs together (17 across this anthology!!) in the 4 years since we began working together on Folklore in 2020."

He praised Swift’s talent, adding, "I believe these songs are some of the most lyrically acute, intricate, vulnerable and cathartic Taylor has ever written and I am continually astonished by her skills as a songwriter and performer," he added.

Taylor Swift released her album, The Tortured Poets Department, on April 19, 2024, surprising her fans with the news that the album in fact has two parts featuring 15 additional songs.
