Sophia Bush recalls finding love amid Grant Hughes divorce

Sophia Bush recently talked about finding love with Ashlyn Harris.

Talking about a divorcée support group she joined amid separation from Grant Hughes, the One Tree Hill alum revealed how she relied on the soccer star as a friend.

"For those of us who had no solution in sight or Hail Marys left, having this community changed everything. We really wrapped one another up in support. It was tragic and hard. But it was also beautiful,” she penned in an article for Glamour.

Sophia also reminisced about her wedding with the entrepreneur and how she realized the reality of their marriage.

"I found myself in the depths and heartbreak of the fertility process," she shared, adding that she and Grant spoke “different emotional languages.”

After moving back to her home in Los Angeles, Sophia came across "groups of women who opened up about issues they were going through in their own homes."

Sophia shared that she and Ashlyn first crossed paths in 2019 and started out as friends as she was also going through her own split from Ali Krieger.

"I didn't expect to find love in this support system. What I saw was a friend with her big, happy life. And now I know she thought the same thing about me,” she said.
