Kyle Walker takes major step amid ongoing tensions with ex Lauryn Goodman

Kyle Walker is reportedly gearing up for a fresh start in Italy, as rumors swirl of a potential signing with Inter Milan.

After a long tenure at City, Walker is said to have already hosted a farewell gathering, signaling the end of his seven-and-a-half-year stint with the club.

According to Daily Mail, the move came amidst personal challenges, including a drawn-out child maintenance battle and a turbulent marriage to wife Annie Kilner.

However, the news of his departure has not been warmly received by his ex-partner, Lauryn Goodman, as per the publication.

Known for her public spats and thinly veiled criticisms of Walker and Kilner, Goodman’s plans for a closer proximity to Walker seem to have hit a roadblock.

Earlier this year, Goodman announced her intention to relocate to Dubai with the two children she shares with Walker, sparking speculation that her decision was influenced by rumors of the footballer moving to a Saudi club.

Walker's shift to Italy, however, has effectively dashed those plans and Goodman currently resides in a £2.4 million Sussex mansion owned by Walker, a property she sought as part of her child maintenance demands.

However, the arrangement limits her ability to rent or sell the house without his permission, further complicating any relocation efforts, as per the outlet.

Moreover, a source close to Walker and Kilner revealed that Goodman’s relocation plans were perceived as an attempt to stay entwined in the footballer’s life.

In regards to this, the publication claimed, “It’s no secret that Lauryn has made moves to stir up drama, but Kyle and Annie are focused on moving forward.”

Furthermore, the tension between the former couple has been ongoing since Goodman informed Kilner in late 2023 that Walker was the father of her second child, Kinara, following the birth of their son, Kairo, in 2019.
