Amelia Gray Hamlin slams nepo baby debate: 'Just let people live'

Amelia Gray Hamlin is well aware of her nepo baby label as well as prepared to answer back any mocker.

The 23-year-old daughter of actor Harry Hamlin and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Lisa Rinna became part of MAC Cosmetics' "Born Famous" campaign alongside her mom.

In a recent chat with People over Zoom, Amelia noted that she has embraced her roots and accepted that she was "born famous" emphasizing “nobody gets to choose where the heck they're from.”

"I was born famous. I am a nepo baby. What can I say?" she told the outlet."As this nepo baby craze has continued and with the crazy internet polarity of the pro-nepo baby or anti-nepo baby, I think at the end of the day, let's be so real. You are dealt the cards that you are dealt."

The model went on to say, "I think the whole argument of the nepotism, nepo-baby thing is just so mindless and unnecessary."

"The people that are arguing against nepo babies aren't nepo babies, and that's cool for you too. The grass is always greener, but the grass is never greener," she added.

Following in her parents’ footsteps, Amelia also entered the entertainment world but opted for modeling.

She has appeared in Vogue's international covers for Arabia and Korea and has also walked the ramp of Paris Fashion Week in January 2025.
