LAHORE: Medical experts of Pakistan Cricket Board on Thursday conducted physical fitness test of the eight players to evaluate their exact fitness level.
Those who underwent Harris Sohail, Sohaib Maqsood, Raza Hassan, Nasir Jamshaid, Muhammad Irfan, Zulfiqar Babar, Sharjeel Khan and Usman Qadir. “We had a comprehensive look at all the players through various tests and we are satisfied with our procedure of testing," said a spokesman of the PCB here.
He said veteran cricketer, Shahid Afridi and Abdur Rehman were tested yesterday, Wednesday through a similar procedure
He said players underwent flexibility test, explosive power, upper body strength, core stability test, speed and agility test followed by cardiovascular fitness test. "We will be sending our recommendations regarding all the players to the PCB which will decide about their selection of the respective of the players in national teams," he added. (APP)
