Prince William leaves message for Scott Mills, Robert Irwin

Prince William made a surprising move by sending an unexpected voice note to his friends.

The Prince of Wales left a voice note for Scott Mills and Robert Irwin during the morning show.

On the Scott’s BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show, Robert answered a few questions from children related to wild-life.

While Scott played the voice notes from children, he shared that there was another message that they needed to listen to.

As quoted by Hello! Magazine, in the message, the future King jokingly began saying, "Good morning, Scott, or should I say G’day, Scott?"

"I know you've got the fantastic Robert Irwin on the show this morning, brilliant ambassador for the Earthshot Prize," William said further in the message.

He went on to apologize for not coming to the show, saying, "Sorry, I can't be with you both this morning, hoping to catch up with you soon."

"You're very much invited to the Earthshot Prize in Rio in Brazil in November. It's going to be a fantastic event, great show," he told Scott.

William hilariously added, "Just beware Scott, that Robert likes to pull random terrifying animals and creatures out of his pockets while he's on anyone's show and talking to them. So just watch your back at all times that a tarantula or something doesn't suddenly pop onto your desk."

"But listen, have a good show, and hope to catch up on you both very soon. Goodbye," the Prince of Wales said in the end.

For those unaware, Robert Irwin, son of the late Australian conservationist Steve Irwin, is an ambassador for Prince William’s Earthshot Prize.
