Duchess Sophie spellbound fans with her elegance as she attended Princess Kate's Christmas carol service At Wesminister Abbey on Friday.
The Duchess of Edinburgh's sparkle seemingly outshined the rest as she made a slolo appearance to support the Princess of Wales.
Sophie has not missed a year since Princess Catherine started her Christmas carol in 2021.
She showed of her elegance in a burgundy coat over a patterned red dress, turning cameras with her stunning look. She even waved to the photographers while heading to the service.
Sophie has always arrived solo, and her fashion choices for the Westminster Abbey event have often nodded to the holiday season, including the red, green, and ivory outfit she wore in 2021.
It’s been a very busy week for Sophie. Earlier on Friday, she had an engagement miles away at Bulford Camp in Wiltshire. The Duchess - in her role as Royal Colonel, 5th Battalion, the Rifles - visited the unit’s base.
On Wednesday evening, she attended the state banquet at Windsor Castle held in honour of the German president. She wore her favourite go-to Aquamarine Tiara for the event.
Sophie's husband, Prince Edward, who has never attended the carol service, also skipped the evening’s festivities this year as well.
Sophie will likely be in attendance for Christmas at Sandringham at the end of the month, accompanied by their children Lady Louise, 22, and James, Earl of Wessex, who turns 18 in mid-December.
