The British monarch's US trip is not a win-win situation as he might be adopting a balanced approach amid ongoing calls and the Andrew-Epstein crisis.
The monarch, 37, could face pressure to meet Jeffrey Epstein's victims during his upcoming visit as some US lawmakers have already called for the monarch to meet with them.
However, the King will not be able to meet with survivors during the trip as it might create a new problem because of concerns that it will prejudice ongoing police investigations in the UK.
Charles and Camilla have both affirmed their continued support for Epstein survivors in past statements about the former Prince Andrew’s ties to Epstein.
He won't be able to meet surviors due to ongoing U.K. investigations into matters related to the late financier.
Sources, according to People, indicate that the concern is that anything emerging from such a meeting could potentially affect or prejudice the work of British law enforcement or any legal action that may or may not follow.
Despit this King Charles stripped his younger brother of his royal titles and honours over his connections to Epstein.
he even wished to make clear that his thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.
After Andrew's arrest in February, the King made clear that he will support transparent investigation in to the case.
Ro Khanna, one of the most vocal members of Congress calling for justice and transparency regarding the full Epstein files, was the one who penned an open letter to the King calling for him to meet with the victims.
There are also reports that Harry and King Charles won’t reunite in the US as the Duke knows how things are and he wouldn’t even ask for that either under these circumstances.
On March 31, he spoke at the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Conference, taking part in a keynote conversation at the IAPP Global Summit in Washington, D.C.
