Former fans of the American rapper David Anthony Burke, aka d4vd, are making a vow after he hits Google’s No. 1 trending musician's list of 2025.
Former fans of the ‘Romantic Homicide’ singer are disgusted to learn their fandom helped propel D4vd to the top of Google’s 2025 trending musicians list, amid ongoing investigations into the murder of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
The decomposed body of Celeste Rivas was found inside the Tesla trunk, owned by D4vd, on September 8, 2025.
D4vd has outclassed blockbuster artists such as Bad Bunny, Doechii, and Coldplay, claiming the throne as the number 1 artist on Google’s most trending musicians list of 2025.
Some of the artist's devoted fans, who ranked among the top 1,500 listeners on Spotify, flocked to Reddit to lament his fall from grace.
“Safe to say I was heartbroken when the news came out,” a user posted on Reddit.”
“You couldn’t torture this out of me. Even if all the listening was done before this happened and ceased immediately,” added another.
“I can’t imagine the trash you listen to. D4vd is actually very talented, and could have been even bigger then he already was,” commented the third user.
The singer is being credited to stardom for TikTok, where he amassed more than 3.9 million followers.
D4vd’s popular music video, "One More Dance,” has garnered over 5.9 million views on video streaming platform YouTube.
Attempting a backflip during his debut Coachella performance this year, he fell hard onto the stage in a viral moment that turned out to be a milestone in his career.
D4vd has now been named as a suspect in the ongoing investigations into the tragic death of Celeste Rivas.
Though the cause of her death still remains unclear, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner.
