Meghan Markle's friend reveals adorable Harry moment viewers didn't see

Meghan Markle’s holiday special has all twinkling lights and handcrafted wreaths on-screen, but behind the scenes, it turns out Prince Harry delivered the sweetest surprise of all.

In With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, the Duchess welcomed a circle of longtime friends and one of them, Lindsay Jill Roth, revealed a heart melting off-camera moment that didn’t make the final cut.

Roth, who has known the Duchess for more than 25 years since their literature-class days, joined her for the wreath-making segment. 

And although Archie and Lilibet were kept off camera, they certainly weren’t far from the action.

“Archie came to set with Harry, and he helped me decorate my wreath,” Roth shared, adding that she savoured “big cuddles” from the little royal. 

“The vibe was amazing,” she said. “Meg was already filming, but the moment I walked in, Daniel Martin gave me a huge hug, then Jake Rosenberg did the same.”

Roth also opened up about her bond with Meghan, telling People, “We haven't always lived in the same place, but somehow we’re always connected.”

Despite criticism aimed at the Netflix special, she maintained that Meghan was completely in her element while filming. 

She described how the Duchess has always had a natural flair for hosting, the kind of person who can walk into your kitchen, pull a handful of random ingredients from the fridge, and turn them into a meal that tastes as good as it looks.
