King Charles is approaching this holiday season with a heightened sense of its significance, determined to make every moment count with family.

The monarch was notably absent from Princess Kate’s annual Together at Christmas Carol Service at Westminster Abbey, but sources tell Us Weekly that while he prioritizes his royal duties, he remains a devoted family man keenly aware of the value of time.

“Charles wants this Christmas to be truly special, a chance to cherish the moments with his family,” an insider explained.

The King, who has faced health challenges and a turbulent year, is focusing on his fourth televised Christmas Day address, a decades-long tradition dating back to King George V in 1932.

Sources told RadarOnline that this year’s speech, set to broadcast at 3pm on December 25, will carefully balance reflection, tribute, and encouragement, while subtly addressing internal royal controversies involving his son, Prince Harry, and brother Andrew.

Insiders reveal that Charles will also touch on global crises, from the Middle East to Ukraine, while emphasizing compassion, religious tolerance, and community resilience in the U.K.

“He will honour those lost, including the late Duchess of Kent, while offering a sense of hope to the nation,” a source said.

Despite skipping the Westminster Abbey festivities, Charles will fully participate in the traditional royal Christmas walk and record his annual message, determined to combine family togetherness with his public duties.

“Nothing will stop him from fulfilling his responsibilities,” a source said, noting that while his health is delicate, the King is taking things day by day.
