Vin Diesel has opened about the importance Michael Caine holds in his life.
Taking it to Instagram, the Fast and Furious star dropped an image of him with Caine.
He mentioned in the post how the 92-year-old helped him through his dark phase of life.
The actor opened the tribute by writing, “The world saw me hand you a Lifetime Achievement Award this week. Your Wife, daughters and grandchildren watching. What they didn’t see was everything else…”
The 58-year-old shared a rare story that many people don’t know about. There was a time in his life when he lost someone he was not ready to lose and Michael helped him cope up with the loss.
The XXX star revealed, “Twelve years ago, I lost someone I was not ready to lose… that the world was not ready to lose. You were there… not with words, but with purpose. You allowed for me to play Kaulder. When mortality had its grip on my life, you brought immortality.”
Diesel appreciates how Caine despite being a legend, prioritizes family.
He wrote, “Whenever I’m at your house, I notice the walls. Only photographs of family. Not legends or movies, just family. That is not simplicity. That is a declaration.”
Work wise, Vin will be returning as Dominic Toretto in Fast X: Part 2, which is slated to release in April 2027.
