Andrew, Fergie first appearance at special royal event: details out

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson set to appear in public for a special royal event after hiding behind the Royal Lodge. 

The Yorks featured in negative headlines this entire year following their ties with the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, leaked via emails.

They are no longer recognised as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

For a long time, Fergie and Andrew avoided public-facing events. But, this coming Friday, it is expected that the former couple might step out to be a part of their granddaughter's christening.

As per Daily Mail, Princess Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's daughter, Athena, 's christening ceremony will take place in the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace.

An insider shared, "It's going to be a royal occasion, but everyone is dreading the thought of seeing Andrew there."  

"Beatrice has, of course, invited her father. But things are not warm between them," said the source. 

"However, she's worried about him. He's going through a low ebb with his mental health, and she recognises that he dotes on his grandchildren and it would be cruel to deprive him of the chance to attend the christening," the report further stated.

It is important to mention that the conversation about the possible public appearance of Andrew in motion with King Charles.
