Body of girl raped and suffocated found on Karachi beach

KARACHI: Police found body of a 13-year-old girl wearing her school uniform on Sea View beach on Thursday, Geo News reported.

According to the victim's postmortem report, she was raped and her death was caused by suffocation. The Medico Legal Officer (MLO) of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) said DNA samples obtained from the victim would be sent to Islamabad.

The girl’s father said their only child was kidnapped from Azizabad two days ago. A case had been lodged at the Azizabad police station and the kidnappers had placed a call demanding Rs 1 million ransom for the release of the girl.
