Prince William issued a personal statement to celebrate the good news, which must have left King Charles and Princess Kate delighted.
It has been announced recently that the Bowelbabe Fund for Cancer Research UK has passed the £20 million fundraising milestone.
The charity was set up by Dame Deborah James, who lost her life due to cancer. Her parents appeared in a video, sharing the thrilling update.
It is important to mention that the royal family has supported the charity. Cancer research and health care have been close to the hearts of royals, especially after King Charles and Catherine's cancer diagnosis.
The royal family's official Instagram page also sent warm wishes to the charity for raising an 'almighty' amount.
Soon after that, the Prince of Wales shared a heartfelt message on his official social media page.
He penned, "What an incredible milestone and an amazing legacy.
"Deborah is in our thoughts today, as are all those who loved her. W."
According to Bowelbabe Fund, "The money raised so far is supporting amazing cancer research projects and lifesaving awareness raising, and we’re so grateful to everyone who has supported the fund since it launched in 2022 and is helping to continue Deborah’s legacy."
