King Charles Office marks incredible milestone after weeks of turmoil

The Buckingham Palace is understood to be navigating some pressing issues as the royal family drama has once again been taking over the spotlight rather than their work.

Moreover, as Charles Spencer’s book hit the shelves on Tuesday about Princess Diana, containing some damaging claims about the royals especially the monarch, the Palace has been increasing its efforts to deviate from the subject to more meaningful things.

Hence, Charles’s ‘secret weapon’ for the reign is easing some of the tensions with her work, as the King’s Office shared a statement on big win.

“Celebrating 80 years of @Mencap,” the message read alongside a carousel of highlights from Sophie’s recent engagement.

“Today, The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron of Mencap, joined charity members, myth-busters and ambassadors to mark this incredible milestone,” it continued. “For 80 years, Mencap has supported people with a learning disability to live their lives to the full and achieve the things that matter most to them.”

The update comes at heels of reports that the King was left furious by his former brother-in-law’s claims and how that it once again reopening wounds of the past in the public.

Moreover, Prince Harry and Meghan have also been a source of worry for the Palace as the police protection decision remains pending. There is much chatter about the King’s position on the matter and especially if he would reconcile.

However, it is not an easy decision as it a peace offering could seem like a weakness and cutting ties could be seen as holding an unnecessary grudge.
