U.S. President Donald Trump is considering additional changes to his Cabinet in the coming weeks after the high-profile firings of Attorney General Pam Bondi and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

Multiple reports cited that these dismissals mark a sharp departure from Trump’s first year back in office, when he avoided making any significant changes in the Cabinet.

But now, the sources familiar to Trump quote that the Mr. President’s thinking says he is “mulling” further changes and reorganizations.

These individuals include the labor secretary, Lori Chavez-DeRemer, who has been accused of misconduct and lost several employees; the commerce secretary, Howard Lutnick, who has been in the news for all the wrong reasons, especially regarding his ties to the Jeffrey Epstein case; and the director of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, because of her views on Iran

However, a spokesperson reaffirmed that Trump has “complete confidence in his Cabinet, calling them patriots who are tirelessly implementing the president’s agenda.”

The ouster of Pam Bondi has been handled separately, with months of internal discussions.

Bondi's departure came amid complaints regarding how the Justice Department managed the files of Epstein and prosecuted Trump’s political opponents. Noem left office amid backlash against his campaign for $220 million worth of ads.
