'Below Deck' star Nathan Gallagher convicted in absentia after fleeing Australia
Burwood Local Court judge Janine Lacy convicted him on all three charges and also issued an arrest warrant

Below Deck star Nathan Gallagher has allegedly fled Australia on the day he was supposed to appear before a Sydney court.
Below Deck Mediterranean star Gallagher has been facing charges of domestic violence in Sydney and was arrested on December 27 last year.
The hearing in the case was set for September 1, at a Burwood Local Court.
But what turned out on the day of hearing was that the Irish star didn’t show up.
The prosecution now alleges that he has fled the country.
Burwood Local Court judge Janine Lacy has convicted him on all three charges and also issued an arrest warrant after he failed to appear before the court.
Gallagher pleaded not guilty to all three charges and was released on conditional bail on January 15, 2026.
Separately, a report in the Sydney Morning Herald claimed, after Gallagher failed to appear in person, police prosecutors asked Judge Janine Lacy to convict him in absentia.
“Given the serious nature of offences, and I note on the record I have been given documentation from immigration compliance operations division that he is currently overseas,” Judge Lacy told the court, the newspaper reported.
Gallagher was arrested for allegedly physically assaulting a 29-year-old woman at a unit block on Appleforth Street, Melrose Park, in Sydney on Boxing Day.
