Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce shares why they choose Adam Sandler to officiate

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are now feeling ever ready to share minute details from their fairytale wedding.

During the September 2 episode of New Heights podcast, the NFL athlete laid bare why he and the Opalite singer chose Adam Sandler to officiate their wedding.

“He has been just the f--king best person on this planet,” Kelce mused to brother Jason. 

“For him to be up for getting ordained in the state of New York and marrying me and Taylor. The way he did it, the very Sandman style, giving us more than we could ever imagined in that moment knowing it was the biggest night of our lives.”

“Best man,” Jason and Kelce agreed instantly. The former Eagles center said the ceremony kept things fun and low-pressure.

“The ceremony was beautiful,” the Philadelphia Eagles alum added.

“Adam killed it, both you and Tay were incredible in your vows. The thing I really liked about this wedding in particular and the way you guys structured it was like after all that was done, there wasn’t like the sit down formal stuff. There wasn’t a bunch of the speeches. It was just time to party and have fun.”

Elsewhere, Jason also name-dropped the guest list of the star-studded wedding that had the internet losing it.

Going on to name-drop Brad Pitt, Paul McCartney and Conan O’Brien as fellow guests, the 38-year-old emphasised, “It was amazing for me to be there.”

The July 3 ceremony at Madison Square Garden brought together two worlds — NFL and pop — and according to Travis, that’s exactly what they wanted.
