Sony and Rockstar Games have released two limited-edition Grand Theft Auto VI PlayStation 5 controllers during the September 2026 State of Play broadcast, offering a new way to experience the highly anticipated game.
The controllers are unveiled in black and white variants, both featuring a striking neon purple sheen surrounding thumbsticks and extending into the grips.
The designs include palm tree etchings on the handles, a “VI” logo stamped on the touchpad, and the classic Grand Theft Auto logo engraved on the back.
Fans can preorder the controllers from September 10 at 10:00 AM ET through PlayStation Direct, with a retail price of $84.99. Their shipment will start around November 19 alongside the game’s release.
Controllers are priced at $84.99, $10 more than a standard DualSense. For super fans, it’s a way to celebrate the highly awaited game, so they can worth it.
But on a performance basis, they work exactly like a standard controller. So it really doesn’t have any additional features to pay the price for.
