Taylor Swift names key to successful studio session amid new music buzz

Taylor Swift has been in the music industry for 20 years, and has cemented her place across the genres with her mastery.

The 36-year-old pop superstar spoke about her creative process in the radio interview this weekend, sharing what she thinks is the key to a successful day at the studio.

The 14-time-Grammy winner said, “I think the thing I have learned from these many years of studio sessions and writing sessions and working with people collaboratively is that your attitude and energy that you bring in the room can affect absolutely everything about the day, so it’s really about being accountable to knowing that enthusiasm about the actual craft that you all showed up to do can make or break the session…"

Swift continued, "so if you come in and act like you don’t want to be there, everyone is gonna pick up on that it doesn’t matter if you’re the artist or the writer or the producer or an engineer, everyone is gonna pick up on you not wanting to be there and for people who intuitively make art it can make them not do anything that day if they feel like you were dragged to be there. So you should be enthusiastic about making art everyday that you get to make art.”

The new interview comes as Swifties are theorising about a potential announcement coming up.

While Swift has been rumoured to be working on her 13th album behind-the-scenes, the 20th anniversary of her Debut album is also approaching in October and fans are convinced she will be releasing the re-recording to celebrate the occasion.
