Lili Reinhart pays homage to Kate Hudson during ‘The Love Hypothesis' event

Two decades later, Andie Anderson’s yellow dress is still having a moment.

Lili Reinhart just gave fans a major dose of 2000s rom-com nostalgia by stepping out in a butter-yellow gown, similar to the iconic dress worn by Kate Hudson in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

The Riverdale alum donned the plunging, open-back look during her Sunday, September 6, press event in Brazil for The Love Hypothesis.

Styled with sparkling D’Orazio diamond earrings, a sleek low updo and glam, Reinhart, 29, appeared to be channeling Hudson’s Andie Anderson in the most glamorous way possible.

The Hustlers actress’ gown is a Caché dupe from the 2000s, rather than the custom Carolina Herrera gown the Almost Famous star wore in the 2003 film.

The look was reportedly further tailored for Reinhart, helping recreate the silhouette of the famous movie dress while giving it a fresh spin for 2026.

The gown worn by Hudson, 47, as Andie was a custom, one-of-a-kind Carolina Herrera creation made for the film in collaboration with its costume team.

Notably, despite becoming one of the most recognisable movie dresses of the 2000s, the original gown has seemingly disappeared from the spotlight.

Hudson has previously said she doesn’t know where the actual dress is today.
