Prince Edward champions youth in Geneva while Sophie supports farming future
Prince Edward hears from students pushing their limits through Duke of Edinburgh Award

As the Duchess of Edinburgh explored rural life in Cumbria, the Duke of Edinburgh turned his attention to science, education and youth development in Geneva.
Prince Edward headed to Geneva English School, where he met students taking part in The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.
The students spoke about their own experiences with the programme, including volunteering, learning practical skills, tackling new challenges and pushing themselves beyond familiar territory.
Geneva English School has shared its thanks after welcoming the Duke for a morning focused on young people.
The school said it was “honoured” to host Prince, who met students, staff and participants from other schools during a wide-ranging discussion.
On September 8, Edward visited the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), where he toured the Large Hadron Collider and explored the research taking place beneath the Swiss-French border.
The day ended with a dinner in Cologny.
