Prince Harry to reclaim precious piece of history for Meghan in power move

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seemed to have suffered two major setbacks, one after another in the last week, which has spurred King Charles’s second son to make a daring move.

Not only did the monarch reaffirmed the Sussexes’s royal status, calling them “private citizens”, but the Diana Award was seemingly forced to cancel a gala dinner just two weeks prior, where Harry and Meghan were expected to attend.

It was suggested that the decision may have been influenced by Prince William, who didn’t want Meghan to be there. Hence, the charity took a diplomatic approach and cancelled the event to cause any further upset.

Although, Harry appears to be determined to take back a crucial piece history and let Meghan carry it forward. Princess Diana’s famous revenge dress is set to go on sale and Harry is eager to buy it for Meghan.

“Harry sees that dress as a symbol of his mother taking back her power,” a source told Rob Shuter. “Diana wore it to clap back at Charles, Camilla and an institution that had made her miserable. In Harry’s mind, Meghan understands that story better than almost anyone.”

The insider added that Harry “doesn’t want it disappearing into a collector’s closet” as it should stay connected to Diana. And he believes there is no better candidate for it than Meghan.

“To Harry, Meghan wearing or simply owning Diana’s revenge dress would be incredibly powerful,” they added. “It would say: Diana survived them, Meghan survived them — and neither woman allowed the Palace to define her.”
