Hudson Williams has shared a name that has had a big effect on the way he sees acting and it is the late Heath Ledger.
The Heated Rivalry star spoke about his acting heroes at a TIFF 2026 event in Toronto.
When he was asked about the actors who inspired him, Williams talked about Ledger and the strong impression his work left on him.
One performance stood out to him more than anything else.
Williams pointed to Ledger’s Joker in The Dark Knight, which he watched when he was younger.
Ledger made the Joker feel very different from the versions that had come before him. He gave the character his own style, voice and way of moving, which made the performance stay in Williams’ mind.
Ledger’s work in the film was also praised around the world. He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2009 for playing the Joker.
Williams is now making his own mark in acting. He became widely known after playing Shane Hollander in Heated Rivalry, which brought him fans from many parts of the world.
He will return as Shane in the second season of the series, alongside Connor Storrie.
Williams was also in Toronto for TIFF events this month. He was there to talk about his upcoming work, including his new series Yaga, as he continues to grow his acting career.
