Katie Price has faced online backlash after promoting peptides that carry a 'not for human consumption' warning.

It comes after the former glamour model, 48, revealed that her family is deeply concerned about her drastic weight loss.

In a now deleted Tweet, the mum-of-five promoted Supreme CBD's peptides as part of a £40 offer on Wednesday.

Taking to Twitter, Katie penned: 'Guys I have started my peptide journey with @supreme_cbd and this is a great offer to start on! £40 wow that’s brilliant.'

Fans quickly jumped to the comments section, with one writing: 'What Katie? Why?'

After noticing the warning on the product, another added: 'Commented this on the post but surprisingly got nothing back, so I’ll try with you… "not for human consumption?"'

It is noteworthy that the star has repeatedly denied using weight-loss medication and has sparked concern this year with her noticeably slimmer frame.

Despite the concerns surrounding her appearance, Katie made a thunderous entrance at London Fashion Week after a long hiatus, having last walked the runway nearly a decade ago.

As for her style, the mum-of-five donned a black waistcoat and black satin shorts with white ruffles on the back.

Katie's bold appearance came just days after she appeared on Good Morning Britain, where she revealed that she is filing for divorce from  Lee Andrews.
