Lisa has nothing but pride for her BLACKPINK sisters

The K-pop sensation is celebrating more than just her own solo success and is proud of how each of her bandmates has carved out a distinct artistic identity for themselves.

In a recent Rolling Stone Canada interview, the Rockstar singer reflected on Blackpink members solo careers.

She said she can feel each member’s personality coming through in their individual music.

Rather than viewing their solo projects as competition, the Money maker described them as a natural extension of the identities the four members are continuing to discover for themselves.

“Listening to their albums, I can really feel how each one reflects who they are. I’m so proud of Rosé, Jennie, and Jisoo, and proud of myself too. We’re all doing the same thing while discovering our own identities,” the 29-year-old artist stated.

The BLACKPINK members have each taken noticeably different creative directions outside the group.

Rosé explored a deeply personal side of herself with rosie, while Jennie presented her own musical vision through Ruby.

Jisoo has also continued developing her individual sound with Amortage and her latest releases, while Lisa showcased a different range of styles and personas through her solo project Alter Ego.
